Plastic Model Building: Workshop to Go – Small Landscapes, Big Ideas!

Create your own little landscape in just 15 to 20 minutes and take it home with you!

At the Faszination Modellbau 2026 event, the “Workshop to go,” organized by PMC Bodensee e.V., invites visitors to get creative and join in.

Here, adults and teens can become landscape modelers themselves and design their own mini-diorama on a 1:87 scale. Whether it’s a green meadow, a rocky landscape, or a small scene with trees, figures, and lots of lovingly crafted details—there are virtually no limits to your imagination. Under expert guidance, you’ll create your very own miniature landscape step by step.

All the necessary materials and tools are ready.

No prior knowledge is required, and participation is completely free!

The finished diorama is then placed in a suitable carrying case and can be taken home as a souvenir.

As early as the 2025 premiere, 49 unique mini-dioramas were created. Each one is truly one-of-a-kind!

Curious? Then just stop by, join in, and experience the fascination of landscape model building for yourself at the Faszination Modellbau Friedrichshafen in Hall A5 at Booth 5410.
