Modellbau Friedrichshafen – Mecca of model aircraft building

Faszination Modellbau Friedrichshafen is the Mecca of model aircraft building. Every year, the exhibitors in Hall A3 experience anew that the fascination for the hobby of model aviation is enormous, when the run on their exhibition stands and presentation areas does not want to stop. Private individuals and club members arrange magnificent model airplanes on pedestal surfaces or let them float down from the hall roof. The offer of the well-known manufacturers and dealers ranges from model airplanes for beginners and advanced pilots to control systems, electronics and all extensive accessories.

Show and action are offered, among other things, by the agile Slowflyers, who display their aerial supremacy in the light-flooded foyer in the “West” entrance area with breathtaking flight maneuvers.

The adjacent airport grounds are also dedicated to model aircraft. From Friday to Sunday, the most spectacular models of the season will take to the skies at the popular international air show “Stars of the Year”. Experienced pilots, including world and European champions, fly the top models of the year and show impressive and breathtaking flight demonstrations.
