In Hall A5, things will be really exciting again this year in the Ship modeling area!<\/p>\n

The model demonstrations cover all areas of the beautiful hobby of Ship modeling.<\/p>\n

Numerous model builders present their various scale replicas at the “Free sailing” program.
\nAmong other things, small harbour service boats, modern passenger ships and container ships in motion can be seen.<\/p>\n

A permanently installed and illuminated model harbor on the water basin demands everything from the Ship modelers.
\nShow how safely and skillfully you can steer your remote-controlled ship models through the harbor.<\/p>\n

When the wind machines are fired up at the edge of the pool, it’s time again for exciting match races with modern sailing yachts.<\/p>\n

IG Yacht Modellbau will also be there, presenting its luxury yachts on a small additional water basin,
\nwhich are modeled on the original down to the smallest detail.<\/p>\n

And, of course, the popular duck pushing competition will take place again this year!
\nParticipants try to push as many plastic bathing ducks as possible into the opponent’s goal with the popular Ramborator push boat models.
\nA wide variety of teams compete against each other. Often the participants have never steered a model ship before.
\nThis ensures a high fun factor – both for the experienced model builders and the budding young captains. <\/p>\n

Speaking of up-and-coming sailors: this year, future model ship builders can once again acquire the extremely popular helmsman’s license for model ships of all sizes free of charge directly on site at the exhibition basin
\nduring the traditional children’s sailing event.<\/p>\n

The Verlag f\u00fcr Technik und Handwerk (VTH) publishing house and the ModellWerft editorial team will once again be represented with their own stand in Hall A5.
\nVarious specialist authors will be presenting their model ships known from the ModellWerft magazine.

Don’t hesitate to ask the numerous Ship modeling experts at the many stands your questions. They are already waiting to explain their models to you in more detail. <\/p>\n

Powerboats (electric and petrol-powered) and hovercrafts will be presented on the exhibition lake in the entrance area. This is also where the remote-controlled jet ski race takes place. <\/p>\n

There’s a lot going on in Hall A5 at Ship modeling this year! Actions without end at the water basin and on the fair lake will once again captivate the spectators. The model demonstrations show all branches of the beautiful hobby Ship modeling. There will be jet ski – and surfer races! Match Races with sailing models! Rescue cruisers national and international show rescue exercises. And of course, the popular duck push is back at the start! Here, the small Ramborator push boat models, popular with young and old, try to maneuver as many plastic bath ducks as possible into the opponent’s goal. The most diverse teams compete against each other. Often the participants have never ridden a model ship before. This ensures a high fun factor for both model building veterans and the budding, young captains and captainesses. Speaking of up-and-coming sailors – in 2021, future Ship modeling enthusiasts can once again earn the extremely popular helmsman’s certificate for model ships of all sizes directly on site at the exhibition basin.<\/p>\n

The VTH and the ModellWerft editorial team will once again be represented with their own exhibition stand in Hall A6. This time we are presenting a wide range of different ship models from all areas of our model ship building hobby – let yourself be surprised and inspired by the various models. Furthermore, a permanently integrated harbor on the water basin demonstrates how safely and skillfully remote-controlled models can dock and cast off. At the “free driving” program item, numerous model builders will present their most diverse, true-to-scale replicas in motion. The entire program will feature expert commentary, including ModellWerft regular author Andreas Stach, who will provide entertaining, interesting and expert entertainment.
