[vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/1″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”159615″]We are “Big Scale”, a community of Ship modeling enthusiasts dedicated to the 1:6 scale. We believe that model sailing is a wonderful hobby that receives far too little attention. That is why we are organizing a regatta on the exhibition basin of Faszination Modellbau 2025 for which you can register. <\/p>\n

There will be exciting regattas with four boats, always at 10:00 – 10:30 and 14:00 – 14:30. To make it particularly exciting, all boats are identical and those who are not yet able to sail will be provided with a personal coach. Before each regatta there is a free training session so that the skippers can familiarize themselves with the sailing boats and immediately afterwards there is an award ceremony with great prizes. <\/p>\n

We will be supported by D-Power, the VTH and b-boats. Big Scale Messeregatta – Regatta mode<\/h4>\n

On each day of the fair, two regattas will take place in the sailing slots at 10:00 – 10:30 and 14:00 – 14:30 on the fairground pool in Hall 5. Participants must be at the Big Scale stand in Hall 5 by 9:45 am or 1:45 pm at the latest for registration and transmitter issue. A triangular course will be sailed, depending on the orientation of the wind machines. The regattas will be held with a special trade fair edition of the b-seven S from b-boats. <\/p>\n

The course of the regatta is as follows:<\/p>\n

  • 10 minutes free training and start preparation<\/li>\n
  • 15 minutes regatta<\/li>\n
  • 5-minute award ceremony with prize-giving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If you have never sailed before, you will be assigned a personal coach who will advise the skipper before and during the regatta. Participation is only possible once.
